THE SADNESS BROUGHT OVER JAMAA: ZIOS’S WRECK
This story takes place many
years ago, when all was peaceful in Jamaa, and Mira, Zios and all the Shamans
lived a happy life. But after this event, phantoms were created, bringing
sadness to Jamaa. You can help lift the spirit. (By playing AJ)
“What a shame he has to go,” Harper the seal Shaman whispered
to Sir Gilbert the tiger Shaman.
“Psh, who cares,” Sir Gilbert replied.
Standing in the middle of Jamaa Township
was a large grizzly bear who had been hoping to become the grizzly bear Shaman.
“He’s too much like me!” Liza tried to explain.
“Well who cares?!” Edmund interrupted.
Liza sighed, and Mira spoke up.
“Carlson, we have agreed you would be a wondrous Shaman, as
Liza said, your animal type is too much like hers.”
Carlson the grizzly bear growled, and Liza beamed.
“Why don’t we take him to the Lost Temple
and see what Zios thinks?” Greely suggested in a quiet gravelly voice.
“Good idea,” Mira said and the animals walked calmly to the
temple.
“Mira! Who is…this?!” Zios exclaimed instead of greeting
them.
“This is Carlson, he wants to be a Shaman but I say no
because he is too much like Liza.” Mira explained.
“Hmmm…” Zios thought aloud.
Liza kept her paws crossed, and someone was breathing heavily.
An eerie silence was upon them.
“Well,” Zios said to break the silence. “We shall vote. Cover
your eyes, and raise your paw when I mention what you wish to vote for.”
Zios cleared his throat and once he saw all eyes covered, he
said “Raise a paw if you want him to stay.” Sir Gilbert, Greely, Edmund, Sophia
and Harper raised their paws.
“Okay, now raise a paw if you want him to go.” Liza, Peck,
Marco, Ruby, Amelia, Otto, Cosmo and all the others voted.
Zios told everyone the results and Carlson roared loudly.
“How dare you! You selfish…phantoms!” He screamed.
Everyone gasped that they had been called such a dreadful
name.
In his fury, Carlson was raging. He screamed and yelled at
Zios, and Zios just stood their calmly. Yet remember, as far as we know Zios is
just a statue. Carlson jumped, and landed on Zios.
Since Zios was just a statue, he cracked in half. Peck
screamed, and Mira rushed over to see him. Greely, Graham, Otto, Sir Gilbert
and Edmund tried to stop Carlson from damaging anything else. They all pinned
him down, and they sent him down the river between Appondale and Jamaa Township .
Mira was crying, and so were Peck, Liza, Sophia, Ruby, and
Amelia. Their precious Sky Father had been hurt, and now all that lived on was
his spirit.
Mira’s tears turned into fog, and they evaporated into
phantoms. It was all a panic in The Lost Temple, and Cornelius fought off the
phantoms while the others half buried Zios so his soul could live on. From then
on, Mira declared it to be the Lost Temple of Zios, and the peace in Jamaa was
now distraught. ~By MangoShapedSpace, the awesome winner of this contest.
